Proco Services has more than 20 years of experience in hot tapping and blocking on pressurized pipe systems, and each year we perform hundreds of assignments for companies, municipalities, and county councils. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valve replacements, relocation, or expansion of water and sewage systems need not be a costly and time-consuming activity with disruptive interruptions for the customer. We block a traditional water and sewage line in operation within one hour, after which our customers can connect their chosen valve, relocate pipes, and renovate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our working method ensures that harmful bacteria are not released into sensitive environments during maintenance of sewage lines. Through our technology, maintenance in pumping stations and treatment plants can also be carried out without operational disruption. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expansion of the lock in S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje CanalPrior to the expansion of the lock in S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje Canal, a main sewage line needed to be renewed and secured. Using our technology, the line could be relocated during operation and without impact on the water in the canal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje Canal, with the Nordic region’s largest ship lock, connects Lake M\u00e4laren’s freshwater with the Baltic Sea’s saltwater. During the Swedish Maritime Administration’s ongoing work to widen the canal and lock, one of S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje’s main sewage lines needed to be relocated and renewed. This was necessary both to minimize the risk of damage during dredging work and to secure the sewage network for the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To successfully execute the project without disruptions to the sewage network and without negative impact on the water in S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje Canal, Proco Services was engaged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, we performed a couple of hot tappings for connections to the new line section. Then we installed a blocking tool to stop the flow in the sewage line. This allowed the older section of the line to be cut and sealed with a valve.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Expansion of the Lock in S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje Canal<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Prior to the expansion of the lock in S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje Canal, a main sewage line needed to be renewed and secured. Using our technology, the line could be relocated during operation and without impact on the water in the canal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
